Back in 2021, Legacy Theatre’s very first mainstage season began with Barefoot in the Park by Neil Simon. Among the cast were Legacy cofounder Stephanie Stiefel Williams and Chaz Esposito. How fitting it is that several years later,  Legacy Theatre kicks off its fifth anniversary season with Chaz Esposito starring in Legends of the 60s, which will also feature cofounder Stephanie Stiefel Williams.

Keely Baisden Knudsen, Legacy Executive Artistic Director, commented: “We don’t take this fifth season lightly and have put a lot of thought and care into the production choices, as well as the players within them. Chaz is a local celebrity and has been seen on and off stages in New England, Florida and New York City with great success for many years. Legends of the 60’s is a symbol of celebration for our audience members as well as a nod back to our first mainstage production, and I am sure our patrons will be thrilled and delighted with his 10-piece band, backup singers and great music, hilarious anecdotes and stories!”

Legends of the ‘60s is a two-act performance of nonstop energy and fun, with classic hits from the era including That’s Life, I’m a Believer, Groovin, It’s Not Unusual, Can’t Take My Eyes off You, Breaking Up Is Hard to Do, Hey Paula, Sweet Caroline and more!

The other Mainstage productions in this fifth anniversary season include the dark comedy world premiere of Long Days, the Sondheim classic Sweeney Todd, and a hilarious farce, Noises Off. Tickets are selling fast. Discounted Season Subscriptions are still available!

In the meantime, get your go-go boots on and come down to Legacy this Spring for a celebration kickoff with Chaz Esposito that you’ll never forget!
